Alex Nero, President of Fresh Air Restoration and Cleaning, has spent more than four decades helping homeowners, businesses, and institutions recover after water damage, mold issues, and indoor air quality concerns. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a licensed Mold Remediation Contractor through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). He is extensively certified in Water Damage Restoration (IICRC), Mechanical Systems Hygiene (ASCR), Odor Elimination, Fine Fabric and Rug Cleaning, and serves as a Certified Asbestos Abatement Supervisor. These credentials reflect his commitment to ongoing education and industry best practices.

Throughout his career, Alex has led and completed a wide range of high-profile and technically demanding projects. His experience includes air duct cleaning and mold remediation work at military installations such as Randolph Air Force Base, Lackland Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston, Camp Stanley, and the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, as well as projects for school districts, universities, and commercial facilities in San Antonio and surrounding areas. He also completed the HVAC renovation at the Tower of the Americas and has been featured on two episodes of A&E’s Flip This House in San Antonio.

Beyond certifications and credentials, Alex finds the greatest satisfaction in helping clients restore their homes and businesses after unexpected damage or health-related air quality issues. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and hunting with younger family members and friends.
